lookin to live...climate

Hello all..

Im looking to do some more traveling this fall...i am home at the moment in western MA. I plan to head out of here in mid fall..
i've heard amazing things about the island..im wondering what the climate is..'specially round winter time...

    It can get a little rainy but it is the best time of year if you like to sail. All the same storms that bring the rain bring the wind. You can be in Vancouver in 2 hrs by sail. The best part of winter on Salt Spring is the hot coffee in the coffee shops.

    per Scott: winter can be wet/cloudy. Mostly, it seems this is in the late fall.
    Spring comes early to the island, making months like February and March feel especially nice: Sunshine, green, daffys, tulips . . .
